CIFEDHOP's Objectives

Training sessions organised by CIFEDHOP aim to :

• Contribute to the development of the socio-legal knowledge base and instructional skills of teaching professionals specialised in human rights education;
• Support the development of educational environments in building awareness of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process and training professionals to participate in its implementation, ensuring that it is enforced in all nations.

Moreover, the Centre participates in information exchanges and documentary comparative analyses efforts to monitor the integration of human rights education in educational policies and curricula as well as initial and continuing teacher training programmes.

Finally, the Centre designs, produces and distributes socio-legal and pedagogical materials intended for teachers and instructors.
